Personal Interview 40% - NO DRESSES, Interview Suits Only!!! *Exception made for Petite Division due to lack of availability of suits in their size.
It's time to show the judges your inner beauty. This is where it counts the most. In a professional interview setting with a panel of judges, you will have a few minutes to talk one on one with the judges and let them get to know who you are. Relax, be natural, and most importantly, answer the questions honestly.
*Scoring is based on your ability to hold a conversation with adults, the ability to communicate and express your ideas and or opinions, your appearance in your interview suit and overall self presentation. Good Luck!
Fashion Wear 25% - NO JEANS ALLOWED!!!
Ever had a hidden desire to be a model? Here's your chance to work the stage. Discover the diva in you to model a high-fashion outfit that reflects your personality. Walk the runway, work the outfit, show us some personality, and have the chance to be a model!
*Scoring is based on your personality on stage, ability to model and appearance in your fashion wear.
Evening Wear 25% - GOWN MUST BE AGE APPROPRIATE!!!
Every girl has always dreamed of feeling like a princess. Just as you've watched the hottest celebrities walk the red carpet, modeling the gowns of their dreams; this phase of competition gives you the opportunity to be in the spot light and wear the gown of your dreams.
* Scoring is based on grace, poise, personality and overall appearance in your evening gown. This is your time to shine.
Work the camera!! Just as you've seen the hottest Latinas grace the covers of your favorite magazines, the Photogenic competition is an opportunity for you to show your personality and beauty in a glamorous picture. The photogenic competition is the phase of competition the delegate has most control of. You can submit your photogenic photo at registration. Your photo may be Color or Black & White; Headshot or 3/4 length; size of photo may be 5x7 or 8x10. The size or color of your photogenic picture do not have an impact on the scoring.
**Las candidatas competiran en lo siguiente:
40% entrevista personal; 25% traje de gala; 25% de vestuario estilo pasarela; y 10% photogenica.
In this phase of competition each delegate has the opportunity to display her pride of her cultural heritage. Model a costume or cultural outfit that represents the country or city you hail from (ex. Mexico/ Costa Rica/ San Juan, Puerto Rico/ Chile etc.).
Scoring is based on Modeling Ability, Originality, Creativity, Fit of Outfit, & How Representative your Costume/Outfit is of the City/Country you are Representing.
